The collection consists of about 30,000 titles including the following types of documents:

Journal Reprints, Books, Technical Reports, Maps, Proceedings, Newsletters, Advisory Reports, Handbooks, Videos, CD-Roms, Computer Programs and other miscellaneous types of documents.

Most of the publications in the collection are available for a one-month loan. Reference and online search services are also provided. All of our services are provided free of charge.

A quarterly publication, Sea Grant Abstracts, announces the availability of new documents.

In addition to the print collection, many full-text documents are now available electronically through the NSGL website via the searchable database.
